SEX INSTRUCTION
A CONVICTION QUASHED NEW YORK, Match 3. A mother's explanation to her sons of sex and its meaning, if printed and circulated through the post, is "net obscene." Such is the unanimous decision of the United States Circuit Court of Appeals, which thus reverses the decision of the Federal Court at Brooklyn a- year ago, when it fined Mrs. .Mary Ware Dennett £6O for sending her pamphlet through the post. Mrs. Dennett, who is a grandmother and a woman of the highest standing, wrote the pamphlet for the benefit of her sons. The ease aroused much discussion throughout the country, and many public debates were held on the subject.
