June 28: Hawke's Bay v. Wai rarapa, in Wairarapa. July 12: East Coast v. Poverty Bay, in Gisborne. July 10: East Coast v. Bay id' Plenty, at Whakatane. August 2: Poverty Bay v. Manavrhenua, at Palmersion North. BRITISH TEAMS VISIT REVISION OF CHARGES (Ppr Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The New Zealand Rugby Union decided to amend the admission charges in connection with the British team's tour as follows: — Provincial matches, admission to the ground, 2s; school children, Is; grandstand, 7s 6d. Test matches: Admission to ground, 2s Gd, including tax; children, Is; stand, 10s, with a limited number of seats at flit will be noted that the only fixtures at Gisboine referred to in the above message are those to be played by Hawke's Bay on May 31 and Bay of Plenty on June 3. The representative programme foreshadowed for Poverty Bay is, of course, much more extensive, for the East Coast and Wairoa teams will visit Gisborne during the coming season on. at least one occasion each,' and negotiations are in progress for a game with the Auckland team, immediate]v after the Auckland visit to Hawke's Bay. and other fixtures are held in view, including one with Manawhenua. The tour of the British team in New Zealand is bound to affect the "market" for interprovinoial games to some extent, but it will he a season below the average if less than seven representative games are played in Gisborne.—"Onlooker."
