ACTIVITY IN BRITAIN LIBERAL AND LABOR LONDON, April 8. Mr. Snowden and Air. Lloyd. George were among the guests at Mrs. Snowden’s second free trade luncheon at Downing Street. According to the Times, plans have been drawn up for a free trade campaign throughout the country. ft has boon arranged jo hold a conference of business men, trades unionists, cooperators and economists for the purpose of staling the case for free trade under modern conditions, followed by public demonstrations in the leading cent res. It is suggested that Afr. Snowden and Air. Lloyd George may be seen on file sumo platform at Albert Hall. Arrangements are being made to open a fund.
