Tho worst storm in the history of the State did gireat damage to the wheat belt. Thirty farms at North Bungulla and the adjoining district were devastated by a wall of water Bft. high, which swept the locality after a cloudburst had. filled the creeks to overflowing. At, one spot hail piled against a fence to a depth of 3ft. Farmers are seeking Government aid in effecting repairs, "and. urging that. unemployed might be sent.
