FORTHCOMING CONFERENCE (P<-r Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. The third annual conference of the New Zealand Law Society opens at Auckland on April 22. The Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, will deliver the inaugural address. Amongst the remits for discussion is one recommending that the statements of witnesses taken by the police when investigating accident cases be available to the parties concer I in any subsequent inquiries in the proceedings.
