FREEZING WORKS STRIKE
NO SERIOUS RESULTS KILLINGS AT NORMAL RATE (Per Press Association.) DUXEDIN; last night. All is quiet at Burnsido freezing works to-day. After two days of "go slow," the boards are now working at the normal rate, and it is not anticipated that the trouble at Fhiogaril, where the men are on strike, will have anv serious effect at Burnside. In Hie meant imp,, the "go slow" policy adopted on Friday in sympathy ibv workers at Halelutha works has cctoscd. V'esterday the men on the Burnsido boards held a .stop-work meeting from 8.15 a.m. to .10.30 n.ni., and after,the employers' side was presentnl to them they derided to .resume work at the normal pace immediately. The tactics of the men since Friday had caused a reduction in the killings of about .'itJOO sheep. The hold-up at the wmks, however, was not serious, as when the troulde was first sighted oil the horizon the company necessarily restricted .deliveries,. , _,
