EMPIRE GAMES
N.Z. REPRESENTATION HONOR OF NOMINATION (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The local athletic association lias nominated Munro, for the discus throw ; Ramson, for the hurdles, and Hill, foi walks, for die New Zealand team at the Empire Games. One member also jokingly said lie thought he could go as manager, the point of which is that as all the money so far available has been turned over to the rowing eight it is unlikely that any other New Zealand representatives will really go.
As another member said: ‘'There won’t he any money; but it is an honor to be nominated.”
