HOTEL DESTROYED
BLAZE NEAR NELSON (Per Press Association.l ■ NELSON, this day. Tito Belgrove Hotel, owned by Mr JRowers and occupied by Mr. -I. B. McDonald, a l’s-roomed two-storey wooden building, was totally destroyed by lire soon 1 after midnight last night. Nino occupants escaped in their night attire. One, John Galvin, was badly burned aml is in hospital in a critical condition. The insurance, on the contents was £650 in the Smith British oil'me, and on the building £2500 in the Queensland office.
