An extraordinary parallel to the Dnsseldurf outrages occurred at Saarbracken, but in this instance the perpetrator was a 12-year-old girl, Kathleen Eeifer, who confessed to having killed a. four-year-old infant and inflicting savage injuries on four others. Tim body of the murdered girl was found carefully bidden in a. boliow near a disused cemetery. In the next few days a four-vear-old girl was found distracted. with throttling marks on tho neck. Then, in quick succession, three others were discovered.
Reiter maintains a stubborn sileneo in the face of police questions, and has refused to give any motive. Her parents are excellent citizens.
