DISASTROUS FIRE
BUSINESS AREA RASED MEN CHARGED WITH ARSON (Received April 7, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 7. Half the business premises in the main street of Browarriua. were razed by lire. The town lias no lire brigade, but residents working, with the councils antiquated hose reel, aided by a bucket brigade, eventually quelled the flames. The shops were mostly weatherboarded. The damage is estimated at £12,000. Two men have been arrested on a charge of arson.
