FAIRHALL BEATS GILLESPIE SYDNEY, April 4. At Lcichhardt (Stadium to-night, in a 15 round contest, Tommy Fairhall, 9.11, welter champion, outpointed Norman Gillespie, 9.0, lightweight champion, in a thrilling contest, wherein Gillespie received severe punishment. He, however, dropped Fairhall in the last round, 'but the latter rose quickly and was saved by the bell.
