SYDNEY-TOKIO
FLIGHT PLANNED FOR JULY 20 SYDNEY, March 26. Mr. E. J. Small, who is to .fly to Tokio in a Lockheed Vega machine, has decided to leave Sydney on July 20. It is probable that lie will take off from Richmond Aerodrome in preference to Mascot. Spare propellers are being sent to Wyiidharn and Manila in the event of mishap, and seaplano floats to Manila in case it should be ultimately found that tho hop from Manila to Tokio is too far for a land plane. It will be the first Lockheed /Vega machine seen in Australia, and it will have a top speed of 170 miles per hour with an average cruising speed of 130 miles.
