DIAMOND CRISIS
LIMITED OUTPUT CAPETOWN, March 26. Although diplomatic denials have hem issued regarding tliP diamond crisis, there is no doubt that the publication by the Cape Times this morning of the grave situation in the diamond conference resulted in bringing both parties to their senses, and an agreement has now been reached which assures a limitation of output according to reasonable quotas. The diamond conference was held between the British Government Diamond Hoard and representatives of private diamond, interests. II was feared that world-wide chaos would have followed the failure of the conference.
