EXPLOSION AVERTED MUNITIONS FACTORY BLAZE ( Received April .5, 10 a.m.) DELHI, April 4. Gallant efforts by British troops averted an explosion of 2S,O()OJi)M. of gun powder and a large cpiantity of ammunition during a big blaze m a munitions factory at Kirkee, near Toona. .
A sentry gave the alarm early in the morning and two companies of the Royal Munster Rifles Artillery and members of a tank corps fougut the flam.es for two hours with a small engine, removing barrels of gun powder from the blazing mam magazine. A special congratulatory order has been issued by the Poona brigade area commander.
