DIVE ON TO ROCKS
OIRL SERIOUSLY INJURED (I«r Preai Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. A fracture of the skull was sustained by Doris, Muehnmorc, 13, of 2,'J Ponsoiiby 'road, as a' result of striking her head on the rocks when diving from .a launch nt Pine Island, where the annual police picnic was being held this afternoon. The injured girl was brought in u speed boat ot Auckland, the journey taking 25 minutes. She was then conveyed to the Auckland Hospital. Her condition is fairly serious.
