The teams are to be regraded after the conclusion of the second round, and as the result c>f Saturday’s play Turanganni and City will he promoted .from the B section to the A section, while Celtic and Poverty Bay Club, who were formerly in the A‘section, will take their places in the B section. City 32. Turanganni 25. B section: Celtic 24. Poverty Bay If), Civil 'Service 13. High School 5. Aii extraordinary situation has arisen, however, in connection with the match between Celtic and Poverty Bay. When the latter team had concluded their second innings, Celtic, whose first innings total, according to the figure nopearing at the bottom of the column in the scorebook, was 196. required two runs to win. and when two of their batsmen had notched a run each, stumps were drawn, Celtic leaving the field with the impression that they wore winners by one run. Subsequently, however, when j he total of their first innings scores was revised, il was found that, the figure was 195, so that in reality the match ended in a draw. The situation is on. winch will have to be considered by the executive of the association, but no doubt in view of the peculiar circumstances. and the fact that hotn teams accepted 196 as the correct total, Celtic will he awarded an eight-point win.
