Force. , A landing speed of 90 miles an hour on an aerodrome half a mile long is one qT the pre-occupations of the pilot of this new machine. It has a top speed of 240 miles an hour and a speed of 2CO m.p.h. at an altitude of 20,000 ft. It is most difficult to fly, and is comparable to Schneider Cup machines, with the added difficulty that its landing is on fields, and not only on the sea. The tests so far have been most satisfactory.
