A RECORD ATTENDANCE WAERENGA-O-KUEI SUCCESS Great success attended the- Waerenga-i-kuri Sports Club's annual meeting, ield at '.'The Laurels," Wuerenga-o-turi, on Saturday. The fixture attracted nany visitors from Gisborne and sur•oimding districts, and the attendance. ivas a record for the club. Rain fell to.vards the end of the meeting, hut despite this the outing proved thoroughly mjoyable. Some, good performances were seen in the horse events, while, icveral foot races drew good entries. Messrs. A. M. de Barrcs and A. Dods died the positions of horse and jumping judges satisfactorily, while the arrangement made by the committee were latisfactory.
