The Burdekin River, having fallen clear of Inkerman bridge, train services have been resumed to Towusville. 'The Charleville to Quilpie line is .still interrupted owing to many washouts. In one place the water covered the metals for three-quarters of a mile. Coastal rain registrations for the 24 hours ended Saturday morning reached 4,18 points at Mapleton. The next highest was 300 points at Maleny. Only some scattered \ight falls occurred in the irftorior.
