VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

The Indian Broadcasting Co. is going into voluntary liquidation iit the cni of February. During the past three years the company has spent five lakhs of rupees in excess of its income, in addition to the capital laid out on the plant. The failure' is attributed to the refusal of listeners to take out. licenses, and the difficulty* iii Arranging programmes to suit both 'Europeans and Indians, while the interference of atmospherics caused faulty 1 wireless reception. '
