MISSION'S INVESTIGATION (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Mr. J. H. McDonald, head of the Canadian lumber commission, is a through passenger to Sydney by the Aorangi. 'lie states after spending some time in Australia tho commission will return to New Zealand to investigate the lumber trade and other matters. What Canada would like to see was an economic conference representative of Canada, Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia, to lie held in this part of the Pacific to discuss trade, commerce, finance, and shipping to mutual advantage.
