REDUCTION OF TAXATION (Received Dec. 30, 10 a.m.) PARIS, Dec. 28. The Commission of Finances accepted the Government's figure of £9,000,000 tax reductions, making a total relief for the coming year of £22,000,000. The chief new beneficiaries will bo families to the extent of £2,000,000, salaries of taxpayers £1,000,000, luxury tax £1,300,000, small tradesmen £1,200,000, and amusement tax £250,000.
