EFFICIENT EXECUTION
CHICAGO GANGSTERS THREE KILLED IN BATTLE (Received December 30, noon) NEIWi YORK, Dec. 29. Liquor gangsters in Chicago who attempted to levy blackmail on the Tyremen s Union, were met by police and routed alter a tierce gun fight, losing three dead. The coroner's jury congratulated the detectives on the clean and efficient execution of three gangsters. The week-end has been celebrated by a police raid upon the racketeers convention, when nine men and one woman were arrested. The delegates gathered in the office of the Acme Products Co., which bears a sign, "We raise money for churches, lodges, etc." Amongst the captured 10 were several who are believed to have participated in the St. Valentine's Dav massacre.
