CANADIANS ARRIVE (Per PresH Association.') / AUCKLAND, this day. | Twenty-eight Canadian bowlers arrived by the Aorangi yesterday on a five- weeks' tour of New Zealand. Eight of the original party had to withdraw at the last minute, through business developments. The tourists will play only six rinks, instead of the eight intended. They admit they are out for the fun of it, but include bowlers holding very creditable records with their borne clubs. The captain of tho team is Dr. Krupp, a member of the Canadian team that toured Britain in 1924. ! Tho Mayor, Mr. C. Baildon, will extend a formal welcome to the visitors at the Test match, Auckland versus Canada, next Saturday. They play, Whangarei to-morrow in their first' match. I
