100 SPANIARDS IN SLAVERY
GIBRALTAR,, Nov. 13. A number of Spaniards given up for drad long ago ar6 now believed to be living in captivity in Morocco. After an exciting escape a fugitive lias arrived at Granada. According to reports received here, lie has informed the, military authorities that a lieutenant captured by the Moors in 1924, after a live hours'' fight, in which all his men ■were killed, is working as a slave in the fields. Altogether more than 100 Spaniards, Hie fugitive states, are being kept in this condition by the Italia tribes, whose territory is in the French zone.
