GREYTOWN TRAGEDY
OPENING- OF INQUEST (Pur Press Association.') CARTERTON* this day. An incpiest concerning the death of John Daniel Randle, 47, who was killed on the Grcytbwn-Featherston highway on Sundav. through bis car overturning, was opened .at Greyiown this morning before the district coroner. Evidence was taken of bis nephew, Claude Henry John Edwards, of (iisbovne, a passenger in *he bale seat with Miss 0 shorn, lie stated that the car was travelling at a moderate pace. The car ran off the road and the deceased applied the brake? sharply. The car overturned, crushing the deceased's head. The inquest was adjourned till the evidence of tho other passengers is available.
