GAOL FOR 'OFFICIAL NEW YO'RK, Nov. 9. Frank H. Warder, formerly State Superintendent of Banking, was sentence'] to-day to from five to 10 years' (imprisonment for accepting a bribe of iJSCCO to prevent the examination of the books of the City Trust Co., which failed fbr £i,OOO,COO last February. The prosecution showed that Warder received from the president, of the City Trust Co. at least £14,000, besides expensive gifts of a motor car and furniture for himself and his wife and daughter.
