(In 'Tuesday afternoon a presentation was made to Mr. J. R. Samson, who is leaving the employ of Messrs. W. A. OfMeara, Ltd.', after 18 years' service. Mr Samson has occupied tho position of secretary to tho firm for some time, and intends starting business on his own Recount. On behalf of the company, Mr P, A. G'Meara presented Mr Samson with a canteen of cutlery, and expressed appreciation of his valuable services. Mr Samson* was the recipient of tin oak tray, with cutglass decanter, water jug, and tumblers, from the staff, who wished him every success in the future. Mr 'Samson suitably responded.
