ATTACKED BY CROWD
CONSTABLES INJURED MELBOURNE, Dee. 25. While attempting the arrest of two men, Constables Masterton and Dunn were attacked by a crowd of 100 men. Constable Dunn suffered a broken nose and broken jaw, blackened eyes and bruised body. The prisoners were set free by the crowd, and Constable Dunn was left lying on the ground.
