BABY ENDOWMENT
STOCKHOLM, Nov. 5. The borough of .Bojlnnes, the Swedish province of Helsingland, hits recently decided to give four Swedish kroner for every now-born baby, thus creating a fund for old-ago pensions in that community. At present about' 250 babies are born at Bolliiaes every yeatr, and i\tc eommutta'l authorities will thus annually pay IOO'O kroner to the Royal Pension Departrftenf. Out of this' money, with accumulated interest, a pension is to lie paid to the (Ail Bolliiaes inhabitants when they have reached the age of 02 years or earlier iii. .case of invalidity. The Bollnaes: idea would .materially add to the State pension if realised all over the country.
