TO-NIGHT’S FEATURES IYA ; At 7.40 p.m. Dr. T. H. Pettit will speak on. “The Awards of the Life'Saving Society, and How to Gbtfiin Them.” The principal vocalists will be tlio Geleste Trio, presenting trios and solos, including excerpts from “The dingaloo” (Munddon). The studio orchestra , will provide instrumental music, while Mr. T. T. Garland will be heard in humorous items. Another “Topical Talk” will be given by Mr. A. 15. Chappell, M.A. From 9.30 p.m. too 11 p.m. dance music will he presented. 2YA: The Wellington Salvation Army band will give a studio concert, With the assistance of the popular Melodic Tfojqr, Mrs. 11. S'. All Wright (soprano), and Miss Rose Carte (elocutionist). 3YA ; Mr. 11. L. Davton .will speak at 7.30 p.m. on “New Zealand Native Plants.” The concert programme will include numerous classical numbers. The singers will bo Miss Agnes 'Cunningham, Mrs. N. Bingham Puddey, Air. C. Pv. Williamson, and Mr. Clive Hindle. Instrumental music will he played by the studio no,tot. There will he recitations by Miss Winifred Smith. 4YA: Silent dav.
