SOUTH AFRICA
HEAVY WHEAT CROP CAPETOWN, Nov. 25. It is evident that Australia will, not sell wheat to South Africa for some years. The local crop is unprecedented, and is estimated at 3,a00,0C0 bags, while 750,000 bags have been imported and stocked. The farmers have protested t» the Government, and the millers have formed a ring and are offering £1 a bag while paying 24s per bag for Australian wheat. The millers deny this, and suggest the formation of a pool by winch 15s per bag could be advanced, ns they are unable to finance growers.
