A Press Association message received from Auckland yesterday intimated that a clergyman,- the Rev. £. Ward, h<ul obtained the permission of Archbishop Averill to distribute a specific which ho considers a Cure for tuberculosis. It is understood that the clergyman is the Rev. Mr, Ward who formerly had charge of the Anglican parish of Waerenga-a-hika, - and who was prior to his taking - holy orders a practising chemist. Mr. 4 Ward left the Gisborne district some : years ago to make his home in the north.
