N.Z. CHEESE IN DEMAND LONDON, Dec. 3. The London market since January has taken 70,000 tons of New Zealand cheese, and a large quantity of butter. NATIONAL BANK. PROFITS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. The general manager of the National Bank ot New Zealand, Ltd., has received a cable message fiom London advising that the board of directors had declared an interim dividend of 12 per cent, per annum for the half year ended September 30 last. This is the same as fur the corresponding period last- year, and will he paid in the Dominion on January 4. A showing of gas (states an exchange) is reported by the Blenheim Oil Well Reclamation Co., whose now bore at Motuvoa lias reached a depth of 1560 feet.
