Tho bursting of a water hose in a dentist’s upstairs room in (Stratford did considerable damage to the stock in the windows of the drapery shop of Harrop’s. Ltd., downstairs. In the morning tho floors of two windows were found to be immersed in water, which was trickling through the ceiling. The water also Spread along tho passage upstairs and entered the Public Library, where it was found necessary to tako up the cork linoleum and dry the rooms with heaters.
