CIVIL SERVICE ASSOCIATION “The policy of this association is to remain absolutely aloof from party politics, ’’ said Mr. F. W. Millar, secretary of. the Now 1 Zealand Public Servants’ Association, when commenting in Wellington on the suggestion by Mr. H. E. Holland, leader Of the Labor Party, that public servants had “everything to gain by constitutional methods, and should follow the example of the operating staff in the telegraph office at Auckland, and place toe moral ami financial support of their organisations behind the Labor Party,” The question of political action had not been discussed by the executive of his association, said Mr. Millar, nor to his knowledge had it ever been suggested that members should proceed upon such lines.
