During November the Gisborne abattoirs slaughtered 2065 head of stock, comprising 298 cattle beasts, 1158 sheep, 297 lambs, 33 calves, and 279 pigs. During the fortnight ended November 23 the Gisborn.e .Borough Council renewed five car drivers’ certificates and one certificate previously issued by another local body. The council also issued 23 new car drivers’ certificates, and licenses for one taxi car, one taxi stand, and cne motor lorry. PROVE ALL THINGS.
