In view of tho fact that no settlement had been arrived at this afternoon between the Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Olub and Borough Council regarding the jumping pit at the reserve, the broad jump event on to-morrow evening’s programme will again have ,to be postponed. The club otiered to leave the digging of the pit and the filling in at the end of the season in the council’s hands, the club to bear the whole of the expense.
