TOURISTS IMPRESSED
VISIT TO ROTORUA (Per Press Association.) ROTOR,DA, last night. Prior to their departure for Auckland, the American tourists expressed the opinion that the liotpl and transport arrangements at Rotorua are far superior to that experienced in other places. The tour drivers were specially eulogised for the information freely given. The tourists were delighted at tho lake* district and the thermal wonders. The Government Tourist Department handled the tour. The Royal Mail Transport Co., was responsible for the car organisation, 42 closed cars being available. Great regret was expressed at the short duration of the visit. Enquiries were also n.rtde for aeroplane facilities, to fly to Auckland.
