ARCTIC FLIGHT
CREW REFUSE DUTY ZEPPELIN'S PROJECT (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) BERLIN, October 12. Asked if they were willing to participate in an expedition to the North Pole, the entire crew of the Graf Zeppelin held a meeting, and decided to refuse. The Graf Zeppelin crew contend they were engaged for passenger flights, not risky adventures like General Nobile's ill-fated attempt. The organisers of the proposed Arctic expedition are threatening to sue Dr. Eckener, of the dirigible, who had contracted to find the crew.
