Perkins, Nationalist, sitting member, 246 ahead. Gwydr.—Abbott, Minister for Home Affairs, 2987 behind Cunningham (L), and 21,509 votes counted or 300 short of last year total. Probable Labor win.

Hume.—Labor seat in last Parliament and Maloncy will win again with 4CCO majority. Lang.—Labor last Parliament, having win again with 8000 majority. ■ Maquarric Labor last time, and won from Labor by Shipley, with 10,853 majority. Marton.—Pratten (N) last time; now won by Kldridy (L) with vote that gives him absolute majority of 3600 votes rtvier People's party' and Nationalist candidates.

New England.—Country Party last time and Thompson (C.P.) is leading by 1.3C0 with 26,000 votes counted. North Sydney.—W. Hughes (1.N.) retains seat with majority of 12,000. Banco 557. Hughes (1.N.) 30,699, Judd 167, Nott (N.j 18,264. Parkes.—Labor wins seat from Nationalists by 8400 votes. Parramatta.— Labor gain, Rowe (L) defeating Bowden, sitting member, by 4326 votes.

Reid.—Coleman (L) wins scat again with 30,016 majority. Richmond.'—Green (C.P.) retains seat against another C.P. candidate, 7366 majority. Riverina.-Killen (C.P.), 15,140, leads N«4ty (L), 14,690.

Robertson.—Nationalist last time'; Gardner, sitting member, is 29S votes behind, with 26,800 votes counted. Last time this seat was a walk-over for Gardner. Result doubtful. South Sydney.—Labor last'time; won again by Riley; 16,163 majority. Warringa.—l'arkhill (N), sitting member, has majority of 1500, wifli 42,000 votes counted, over Windever (People's Party). Bourke : Austey (i.., 1,651, beats sit ting member, Bowen (X.J, 11,196. Korangi: In doubt. Gibson, Post-master-General, is now 1800 behind with 24,000 votes counted. At last election 34,500 votes were recorded, so there will be a big vote yet. Corico : Labor gain. Lewis (L.) 25,fc!Jl. Lester (N.), 19,615. Echucu: W. 0. Hill, Country Party, will retain seat with a lead of 2000 against E. C. Hill (!.".).

Falkner: Maxwell, who stood as Nationalist at last election and refused to vote with party on crucial devision. has won as Independent Nationalist, belling Sir Arthur Robinson, the Nationalis nominee, the score being: Maxwell 23.869. Robinson 14,947, Rev. Roland (Independent) 852.

Flinders: Bruce, the Prime Minister, was 393 behind Hollowav, Labor, with Burch, Labor, 2064.

Gippsland : Patterson (C.P.), Minister for Markets, will retain the seat, leadin" Buckley (L.) by 6000 votes.

Ilenty: Retained by Nationalis Oullett (a Minister) scoring 32,125, whie! is slightly short of an absolu.c majority over the other two candidates. Bolton, Independent. Wimmera: Stewart (Ind.). sitting member, leading by 50CO votes over Harris (C.P.). —QueenslandBrisbane: It looks as if Cameron (N.) will retain the seat with 17,845 against Frerichs (L.J 16,961. Uxlev: In doubt. Baker (L.) 23,250. Bailey* (N.) 22,756. Lilley : Nationalist retains seat. McKay, sitting member, 29,920, O'Keefe io,osO. Alarton: Nationalists hold seat. Frances 17,757, Taylor 14,539. Darling Downs: A change here. Sir Lyttelton Groome, the Speaker in tho last Parliament, who voted against the Government, polled 6605, Llewellyn (L.) 9512, and Morgan (N.) 12,300. It will depend on where the preferences for Sir Lyttelton have gone Herbert: Safe for Labor. Martin (L.) 18,501, Amilt (N.) 15,205. Kennedy : In doubt. The Australian Press Association sent Mr. MacDonald an Australian despatch indicating that Labor had won SO scats, and stating that the increased prestige of the English Labor Government had contributed to the Australian Labor Party success. The Prime Minister's private secretary, Sir R. Vansittart, expressed regret that due to 1 the lateness of the hour he would hesitate to ask the Prime Minister to comment. Mr. MacDonald, earlier to-day, however, had expressed groat interest when the issues in the campaign were outlined to him in audience by Mr. Brookes.
