PREMIER’S MISSION LEAVES LONDON TO-DAY ( Briti--.li Official Wireless.) Hoc. 2 p.m. RUGBY, Sept. 26. During Mr. Ramsay MacDonald’s absence in the United States, Mr. Philip Snowden, Chancellor of the Exchequer, will deputise as Prime Minister. Mr. .MacDonald and his small party leave London to-morrow evening and will return, according to present arrangements, during the first few days of,November. Consequently, wlijeri Parliament reassembles on October 29 Mr. Snowden will lead the Government- in the House of Commons. General Dawes, the American Ambassador, called upon the Prime Minister at- Downing Street to-day and remained with him for considerably over an hour. The Prime Minister leaves for America to-morrow and it is understood that he and the Ambassador had a- final conversation regarding his mission.
