P.B. SHEEP MARKET STOCK SALE AT MATAWHERO The prices realised during this morning’s business at the weekly stock sale showed little alteration from the rates ruling recently, except that secondgrade fat sheep .were a little firmer. The yartlings were not large. Some good quality fat cattle came forward, and in this'respect an improvement was noticed over the cattle offered at recent sales. There was an average attendance of the public. STORE SHEET. There was an entry of 2COO sheep. There was little alteration in prices from previous sales. Eirst-grado sheep showed no change, but second-grade sheep advanced in price. Very prime ewes mado £1 5s 9d, other ewes £1 2s 6d to £1 sd, Dawn lioggets £1 4s, and secondgrade ewes £1 to £1 2s 6d. Prices were: 25 ewes, very prime, £1 5s fid; 4 Down c»oss hoggets, £1 4s; 5 ewes £1 3s 6d; 8- ewes, £1 4s; 2 ewes, £1 4s Id; 1 wether £1 6s 6cl; 21 ewes, £1 sd; 4 ewes, £1 4s scl; 2 ewes, £1 2s 6d. Second-grade: 6 ewes, £1 Is; 4 ewes, £1 0s 5d j 7 ewes, £1 2s 6cl; 2 ewes, £1; 4 ewes, £1 0s 4d. FAT CATTLE. The entry of fat cattle was 20 head. The quality was better than usual, and the yarding consisted mostly of wellfinished cows of beef breed. An extra heavy prime Hereford cow made £ll. Several, pens of good cows made £lO 2s 6d to £lO 7s 6d, and light finished cows • £9.
