JOURNALIST’S EVIDENCE CHARGE AGAINST SHEARER (Australian and N.2. Press Association.) (Received Kept. 27, noon.) WASHINGTON, Sept. 2d. Drew Pearson, a newspaper correspondent at the 1927 Geneva Conference, told the Senate investigating committee to-day that William Shearer appeared to be a real iniluenee against Anglo-American goodwill, and was with the naval experts on many occasions.
