PARIS, August 6. Great surprise has been aroused in Bordeaux by the news of the arrest of the director of a well-known' gaming club attached to a fashionable cafe and three of his friends. The club was much frequented by people of the heat social standing in the region, and was generally regarded as above suspicion, Imt a police inquiry, it is alleged,' revealed grave irregularities in its accounts.
