Ail anti-cyclone is moving on to southern New Zealnaml. A cyclone has developed in the Bass Strait. There, are indications also of a slight oyclone east of Napier. Winds moderate to strong from between south-west and south-east. Seas rough south of East Cape and about Cook Strait, otherwise moderate. Light to moderate south-west to south-east, winds and smooth to moderate seas; in the eastern Tasman. Weather, dull and unsettled in eastern districts, with rain, but improving later from Cook Strait southwards, mainly fair to fine in western districts.
