AUSTRALIAN-MADE PLANT SYDNEY, Sept. 10. ; The commercial wireless system of Now Zealand and its mandated territory is now being modernised. The high-speed short wave wireless telegraph station manufactured ami supplied by Amalgamated Wireless a few months ago, to the order of the Now Zealand Government, for Tinakon Hills, Wellington, is now in course of erection, and was recently inspected in Sydney by a representative of the New Zealand Post and TelOgraph Department. The New Zealand Government has now placed a further , order with Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia), Ltd., for a H k.w. short-wave transmitter, for installation at, Apia, Samoa.
