ADDITIONS NEEDED
MASONIC GIRLS’ INSTITUTE (Per Press Association.) ■ NELSON, last night. At a meeting of the executive com mittee of the Board of Governor’s of the Kirkpatrick Masonic Institute for girls, it- was decided to make a substantial addition to the buildings so as to provide additional accommodation. The buildings are now overcrowded, and the board is unable to accommodate further applicants. Five girls are waiting admission, all being necessitous cases. It was decided that as the present- income of the board is hot Sufficient for present requirements, and in view of the necessity of providing a guaranteed additional income to meet the growing needs of the Institute, an appeal will be made to all Masonic Lodges in New Zealand, for financial assistance.
