TRAINER'S PAINFUL INJURY (Special to the Herald.) AUCKLAND, this day. A trainer who has stallions to prepare for racing has to be ever alert, as it is always possible that such a horse will become vicious. When drying Torpedo Huon down after working the horse at Epsom, his trainer, L. McMahon, was caught unawares. The patting stallion suddenly grabbed McMahon with his teeth across the bridge of the nose, and inflicted a wound which required several stitches.
