Court, Grange and .Sons, Ltd., claimed £sl 12s 2il from the Union Steamship Co., or the Wellington Harbor Board, as the result of the disappearance of a ease of silk transhipped at Sydney into the Mahe.no. For the plaintiff it was stated that thf two defendftflts were being sued, as it was not known which was liable for the loss of the case. (Proceeding.)
